Conclusion
By the end of this project students should know who were the Mountain Men and what were their roles during the Fur Trade. Also by this project, they should know a little bit about how to run a business too. Questions they should be able to answer are the following:
~ Who were the mountain men and what was their role during the fur trade?
~ Which animals were hunted to sell their fur, and where were they located?
~How did they capture the animals, and how did they remove the fur to sell?
~ What were some of the tools and traps they used?
~ How long did the fur trade last? When did it end?
~ Where was the most fur pelts being sold?
~ Who was the first known mountain man?
~ Why is it important to know of the importance of these men?
As I already stated, students should be able to answer all these questions correctly if they truly learned from this project, and worked hard.
